Signed by Motown Records in 1968, Rare Earth has become a legendary force in the annals of Rock and Roll history. Some of their greatest hits garnering several gold and platinum albums include, “Get Ready” and “(I Know) I'm Losing You”—both of which broke the top 5 on multiple national charts. “Born to Wander” followed, as did “Hey Big Brother”, “Papa Was a Rollin‘ Stone” and “I Just Want To Celebrate” which is indisputably their most famous hit single. The song charted in the Billboard Top 100 for three years standing and has been used in countless movies, gaming videos and national advertising campaigns all over the world. Rare Earth has played to millions, spanning time over seven decades in some of the largest venues and most memorable festivals of music history. Today, Rare Earth continues the legacy performing their captivating show throughout the world, and bringing this legendary sound to the stage.
