Nick Gilder
Known for his iconic, glam-drenched smash hit "Hot Child in the City," Nick Gilder's live shows promise a blend of nostalgia and vibrant energy. That tune’s mixture of guitar-heavy rhythms and new wave-style hooks helped it saunter all the way up the charts, where it reached #1 in both the U.S. and Canada in 1978. Gilder became a familiar face on TV music programs at the time, performing the song on American Bandstand and The Midnight Special. Gilder has also seen success in the rock work, performing as lead vocalist in bands Rasputin and Sweeney Todd.
